Fire Burl (DLFB-080): Created by John Blazy. Every color of the rainbow. Several color dominances can be had with various patterning steps, but the best is the "purpleized" version in which you get lime green veins within deep magenta/purple. Then throw in lots of red, yellow, blue etc etc. Fire Burl can be counted on for greater than 85% consistency every sq ft.

These sheets are half the size of our Abalam® Laminated Sheets and Veneer Sheets.
Dichrolam inlay stock will produce dynamic results when fabricated correctly, so follow these two primary rules: Do not cut aggressively with saw teeth coming OUT through backing, and do not polish with high speed cotton buffing wheels. All saw cuts and coarse abrasives should enter the back and exit the face (i.e. back side "UP" with bandsaw cutting). Common buffing techniques create too much surface heat, so use Meguire's 105 Ultra Cut cream compound for high gloss polishing after fine sanding using low RPM foam pad.
